The Alzheimer’s Association was founded in 1980 with the mission to advance research, enhance care and support, and reduce the risk of dementia. Working at a global, national, and local level, the Alzheimer’s Association gives caregivers and those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s the tools they need to live their best life and prepare for the changes ahead. The Alzheimer’s Association of Southwest Michigan is located in Kalamazoo, MI, where they provide programs and services, including support groups and educational workshops.
